Mission Statement

Lorne Memorial Health Foundation Inc. is a registered Canadian charity that supports local healthcare initiatives. Its mission is to raise and provide funds for projects that benefit health services within the community. The foundation strives to enhance access to quality healthcare for residents in its service area.

Geographic Focus

The organization operates in Swan Lake, Manitoba, and primarily serves this rural region. Its activities and funding benefit local facilities and neighbouring communities throughout Southern Manitoba. The foundation does not engage in national or international operations.

Program Highlights

The foundation provides funding for improvements and equipment that enhance healthcare services at community hospitals and nearby centres. Recently, it donated $100,000 to support the expansion of the Boundary Trails Health Centre, with a focus on cancer care and neonatal care. The foundation supports projects that help reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for essential medical treatment.
