What is the AMBM?

The Association of Manitoba Bilingual Municipalities (AMBM) represents Manitoba municipalities that have adopted policies supporting the active offer of services in both official languages.

Since 2024, the Municipality of Lorne has held bilingual designation, recognizing the importance of Manitoba’s two official languages. This status reflects a formal commitment to strengthening and sustaining Francophone communities within the municipality.
